It’s July, and it’s time for a new Locals Only!, WKNC’s FREE monthly live local music event in partnership with Neptunes! Join us on Thursday, July 10 for some good sounds and cool bands! Let’s see who’s playing.
CPS
While not exactly local, CPS brings a really unique, intricate sound from New York. Right now, they’re on tour, and we’re lucky to have them come by during our next Locals Only! Event.
Survival Tactics
North Carolina hardcore band Survival Tactics is, in fact, local, being based here in Raleigh. They’re heavy, noisy, and loud, a perfect combination for a great live show.
Drivel
Once again not local, but DC-based punk band Drivel will also be at Locals Only! this month. Expect hardcore tones delivering strong messages from Drivel, meaning the July lineup seems to be pretty hardcore and punk forward, which is nothing short of exciting.
Negative Bias
Finally, more local music. Negative Bias is a North Carolina-based thrashcore band, continuing the high energy this month has to offer. Looking forward to loud music and fast music, this Locals Only is a perfect time to mosh.
Closing Thoughts
This show will take place on Thursday, July 10 at Neptunes, and music starts at 8:00 pm. Tickets are free for those over 21, and $5 for those 18-20. Come out and support the station and your local music scene.
