WKNC Double Barrel Benefit 8

WKNC 88.1 FM's Double Barrel Benefit returned to Kings Barcade for its eighth installment on Friday, Feb. 4 and Saturday, Feb. 5. This year's benefit featured a first for the station: a compilation release featuring an original, previously unreleased track from eight acts. Seven of the songs were recorded at Caldwell Lounge, right on the N.C. State campus, by Sessions@KNC Director Eric Scholz. Inflowential is included on the compilation, but due to scheduling a conflict will be unable to perform at DBB8. We are indebted to the following folks for their generous support: Kitchen Mastering of Carborro for mastering the DBB8 compilation, Triangle Duplication Services of Raleigh for duplicating the CD, Remedy Diner and Pabst Blue Ribbon for keeping our talent well-nourished, Kings Barcade for welcoming us back with open arms and, of course, the nine acts who call WKNC their hometown radio station.
