How are these Loud rock albums? They pretty much sound like metal and death metal to me, and they are the same metal albums I’ve been hearing for like 15 years. Can we at least get something new for a top 10 Loud rock album? Maybe a move forward from the late 80′s metal movement?

That’s the official title of what the top ten albums played on our Chainsaw rock show. I don’t listen to chainsaw music, however, so I don’t have a valuable opinion on the appropriateness of the terminology. As for your other questions, do you mean contemporary, as in made in the last few years?

These are all metal albums, but A) only one of these are death metal albums, and B) I doubt everything on here is same stuff you have been hearing since 1995. I have been listening to metal since that time, and have listened to stuff beforehand, and I can guarantee that you won’t find anything like Nachmystium, Iron Thrones, or Mose Giganticus from those times, and the have moved forward. It just takes an open mind to see that
